A colorful family.
Each and every family is different. I have been so lucky to photograph so many families with their various members. Some are close-knit, some are funny, and some are all over the place and active. But those defining characteristics are what I aim to photograph because that is authentic to them.
The Collins family has some of these characteristics. They have their own dynamic.
During their session, each of them took on such distinct roles:
Crystal, the sweet moma, was the lovely sunshiney brightness of the family!
Jerry was the goofy daddy that added humor to the bunch.
Destiny was the quiet, more introverted oldest sibling with the shyest, but sweetest smile.
Lila was the perfect example of an outgoing middle sister. She was always ready with a funny face or a grin.
Cane was definitely a moma’s boy. He took a bit of time to warm up but then he had the most infectious laughter as he ran around.
All together, they make such a colorful family.
I am so thankful for the small reminders in life about doling out kindness. Crystal exemplifies kindness and always has a smile on her face whenever I see her.
